ParaQuad Industries Op Shop Shenton Park

+ The book selection rivals the annual Save The Children book sale at UWA.+ Staff are really lovely- one of the more expensive op shops I've been to. Some stuff they know what they have, others are just overpriced. It felt more like a book reseller than an op shop. Ironically, I'd just come here after buying secondhand niche science books from BirdFest and checked here in their science/nature section to see nearly retail prices on their stock, compared to the dollar per book I'd just spent at the BirdLife event. The UWA sale I mentioned earlier is much cheaper too.- the clothes/etc section in the main building was very messy and awkward to get around

Horrendously overpriced for second-hand. Purchased a jacket that I didn't realise was stained at the time and they will not accept returns. Such a shame given the Balcatta ParaQuad is one of the best op shops you'll find.

Great hidden Gem. Good selection, practical layout and the staff are always willing to give more than 100 percent.Great to learn from them. Inspiring.One of the best initiative by Subiaco Council. Also don't forget to check out the Book shop in the front.Well done

Great place as has small cafe next door plus toilets and parking. Lots of books which I was looking for and other stuff.

The op shop is large and tidy and the staff is friendly. The aare some bargains to be found if you are willing to take your time and rummage.

Lovely, big second hand shop. Well organised, friendly staff. Lots of stock, and big range: clothing, shoes, kitchen, books, toys, electrical, furniture, gym, camping... Wide variety of quality as well as prices - some (usually brand new) stuff can be more expensive but also has lots of older stock, I have found many amazing bargains.

Great history books available especially ones from the state library of western Australia

Ridiculously overpriced selling a used kmart doll $15.00 dearer than kmart! Just one of many overpriced items. Shame the Balcatta store is awesome

Enormous second-hand bookshop staffed by people living with disabilities. Wide range of items, including children's books and audiobooks. Located at the end of the road on the right-hand side.

Everyone that works there is so lovely. Young man (I think named Philip) was so sweet. All the customers seem to know and love him. Very friendly place to visit and find treasures. It's a large shop
