Left feeling completely underwhelmed with the consignment review. Was literally in the store 3 minutes (with two large bags) when they were handed back to me. Actually not convinced that the items were reviewed properly…. How is it that Anya Hindmarch (new in box) and Lanvin bags are rejected when Marc Jacobs and Oroton ones are accepted? Also had beautiful new in box Bottega Venetta wedges rejected (but they are selling Castaner (which sell for a quarter of the price). I had brand new (with tags) Sass and Bide and Reiss. Dsquared. Isabel Marant. Understand that not all items will be accepted but I think if you make the effort to go in you should get more than a cursory glance.

The best way to look stylish on a budget is to try second-hand, bargain hunting, and vintage.I buy & sell at Consigners Closet and always have great experience. Staff are friendly and helpful .

We came yesterday with several bags of items, mostly Hugo Boss, Armani and Willow. We didn't contact them in advance, we just turned up and hoped they would take a few things. They were unable to take anything we had due to high levels of stock and some of the brands were not in their list. However we were still very happy with the service, the lady was very pleasant and helpful. She still thanked us for bringing things in and redirected us to a nearby alternative store (Dress Circle Emporium), where we was able to drop off pretty much all our items. Thank you for your assistance ladies, in future we'll email photos ahead of time.

I've been shopping at Consigners Closet for a couple of years now. They have great pieces, in great condition - accurately described online. I did once have an issue with the sizing of one set, but the team were great in exchanging it for me. Love getting high quality clothing at reduced pre-loved prices + it's a more sustainable way of shopping.
